The Conference & Events Awards are annual accolades that celebrate excellence across the events industry, recognising conference and exhibition organisers, in-house event teams, agencies, venues and suppliers who deliver outstanding experiences. 

This shortlisting follows a record-breaking year for The Pharmacy Show, which took place at the NEC Birmingham on 12-13 October 2025. The event welcomed more than 9,600 pharmacy professionals, alongside 340 exhibitors and 222 expert speakers, making it the largest edition to date. 

Bringing together professionals from community pharmacy, general practice and integrated care, the two-day event provided a vital platform for learning, networking and collaboration. With increasing pressures on the sector, the programme focused on the most pressing topics shaping the future of pharmacy, including the 10 Year Health Plan, Pharmacy First and the evolving role of community pharmacy within the wider healthcare landscape. Attendees also had the opportunity to explore the latest products, services and innovations, while connecting with peers from across the industry.

The 2025 edition introduced several new features designed to enhance the experience:

• The Pharmacy Owners Forum, which achieved a Happy Index score of 82, offered tailored content addressing the challenges of running a pharmacy, with practical advice, efficiency strategies and expert-led discussions.
• The MORPh Theatre delivered forward-looking sessions for clinical, community and primary care pharmacy professionals.
• A new Networking Zone hosted eight ‘Meet the Speakers’ sessions, creating a more informal space for one-to-one conversations and deeper engagement.
