CloserStill’s first launch into North America: New York Vet, looks set to rewrite the rulebook for launch expectations!

CloserStill Media are delighted to announce that the company’s first launch into the US, New York Vet, is their most successful to date. Over 115 exhibitors have already booked their stand in just 10 weeks since the launch. This is unprecedented, despite launching many successful events into Europe and Asia over the past seven years.

New York Vet will debut at the Javits Center in New York City on November 9-10, 2017. This conference experience will provide thousands of veterinary professionals with innovative veterinary content in a multi-stream program. Exhibiting vendors will showcase the best of North American and international marketplaces.

New York Vet forges a path in the US of a pioneering format hugely successful in Europe, with record-breaking and award-winning veterinary conferences running in London, Paris, and Cologne. More than 10,000 veterinarians benefit every year from the high-quality, low-cost CPD opportunities provided through CloserStill Media’s veterinary events portfolio.

Rob Chapman, head of the veterinary portfolio for CloserStill Media and who was responsible for launching and growing the veterinary events in Europe, comments: “This approach has been truly transformative in other countries it has run. It appeals to the new demographic of vets. It has allowed us to create really dynamic and exciting events that provide vets with really valuable and practical learning and also provides exhibitors with a unique sales opportunity.”

Brief Media Founder and CEO Elizabeth Green explained the rationale behind the content model for New York Vet: “All of our brands at Brief Media have been developed with the purpose of providing highly practical content that can be consumed in minimal time. No exception to this principle, this event now brings unique new formats of immediately applicable clinical and business information in a live event. The collaboration with CloserStill Media, a company well-known for their exceptional veterinary events, is an obvious choice to expand our highly regarded content into a live experience.”

Many US suppliers already know the event format from participating in the London event. Craig Evans, General Manager (Europe) from iM3 Dental, welcomes New York Vet: “As a regular exhibitor at the London Vet Show, we know how well these events work and how easy it makes it for suppliers to spend valuable time with the veterinary community. In an industry known for a mix of fast-paced change and tradition, London Vet Show seeks to innovate whilst remaining relevant to the core audience of veterinary professionals, keeping clinical excellence at its peak. We are looking forward to participating in New York Vet.”

New York Vet Event Director Stephen Knowles adds, “CloserStill Media and Brief Media are delighted to be bringing Europe’s largest vet event to the world’s largest veterinary market. The Northeast American region is under-served, and with vets facing significant changes to CE requirements, New York Vet solves a real and growing need for veterinarians and suppliers. We are delighted with the incredible response from the industry for this launch.”
